Corruption, defined as 'the abuse of public power for personal ends', has always existed but during recent decades, however, it has grown both in terms of geographic extent and intensity. Does development impact corruption? Does corruption stunt development? What are the sites and forms of corruption? Is there a need for a multifaceted approach for curbing corruption?
